Reframed Magazine is an independent magazine exploring criminal justice, second chances, identity, and human stories through perspectives that challenge stigma, encourage empathy, and inspire understanding.

From formerly incarcerated people doing meaningful work in their communities to local filmmakers opening new conversations, REFRAMED makes space for a wide range of voices. Features may also explore the psychology of ostracism, the effects of stigma, and what helps people build connection and belonging.

Based in Portland/Vancouver, WA, with a Pacific Northwest perspective, our first issue is currently in development.
