PRODUCING SINCE 2013
Metamora Films provides documentary film production for clients who have a meaningful story to tell and need a production partner who understands both the creative process and the people behind it.
Since 2013, we have developed and produced films and media centered on real people, lived experience, social issues, and stories that benefit from greater context. Therefore, we approach production as more than simply capturing footage.
Strong documentary work depends on trust, patience, preparation, and an understanding of the people at the center of the story. That becomes especially important when a project involves sensitive or complicated experiences.
Because Metamora Films has spent years working within this kind of storytelling, we approach interviews and production with care while still looking for the moments, details, and perspectives that make a film compelling.

Interviews, field production, narrative scenes, supporting visuals, and other production elements are planned around the people and purpose of the project.

CURRENTLY IN PRE-PRODUCTION
Our current educational documentary series, Versions of Me, explores identity, stigma, lived experience, and what it means to rebuild beyond the way others define you. In addition, the series is being developed as a screening and educational tool for schools, nonprofits, organizations, and communities.
